STOTT Pilates Reformer Training is a contemporary approach to the original teaching of Joseph Pilates. It is the optimal way to achieve strength, flexibility, and proper body alignment. The central concept is strengthening the core of the body – deep abdominals, hips, upper & lower back and the muscles around the spine.
Whether you are working with a personal trainer, or in a small group class setting, the aim of STOTT Pilates remains the same: optimal musculoskeletal performance - strength, flexibility and endurance - without risking injury or building bulk. With a focus on core stability, including pelvic and shoulder girdle stabilization, neutral alignment and breathing, STOTT Pilates also helps restore the natural curves of the spine, relieve tension and enhance self-confidence. The result: a balanced and aligned body that looks fit, feels revitalized and moves with ease - important goals whether you are a beginner, rehabbing, or an elite athlete.
STOTT PILATES SCHEDULE
The Y offers the following STOTT Pilates levels:
Beginner, Essential, Essential Plus, Intermediate & Advanced
- Y MEMBERS
Pay Per Session - $30.00 (2x per week) or $15.00 (1x per week)
Monthly Bank Draft - $20.00 (automatically registered for every session with the bank draft option)
Pay Per Session - $60.00 (2x per week) or $30.00 (1x per week)
