The Aberdeen Family Y provides a variety of options for members to participate in group activities and classes. These classes are available with your membership at no additional cost!


GROUP FITNESS: SPECIALTY CLASSES

There is a minimal charge for these classes. These are classes that have a start and stop date and require a registration.

ADDITIONAL BODYCOMBAT CLASSES

Whether at home or in the gym, BODYCOMBAT™ is the empowering group fitness cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by mixed martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai. During this ultimate warrior workout, you'll strike, punch, kick and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness. We've added additional classes on some Saturdays from 8:00-8:50am. No registration is required and is free for members.

BODY PARTS CYCLING RIDE

Jen and Molly are at it again! You will be riding to dance favorites like... “I Wanna Hold Your Hand” , “Eye of the Tiger” , “Brown Eyed Girl” , “All Shook up”… And many, many more!!!

HOLY YOGA

Holy Yoga is experiential worship created to deepen people's connection to Christ. Our sole purpose is to facilitate a Christ honoring experience that offers an opportunity to believers and non-believers alike to authentically connect to God through His Word, worship, and wellness.

Join us for an exercise class joining the breath, movement, music, and prayer you may experience in a yoga class while putting the focus on Jesus. We will practice with our minds set on whatever is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent or praiseworthy (Phil 4:8), not with our minds emptied. We will meditate on the wisdom of God's Word (Psalm 119:9-16, 26-27), not on man's wisdom. We seek the transcendence and glory of God, not our own. Come worship our King in a way you have never experienced. All abilities welcome.

MYOFASCIAL RELEASE SPECIALTY CLASSES

Get more use out of your roller! Review some basics and learn new add-on moves to master the use of your roller! Come to one or all, pick the days that work for you. Each class will be unique! These Wednesday classes require some knowledge of Myofasical Release and a MELT foam roller. These classes are held 7:30-8:15pm on Wednesdays. Learn more, HERE.

COST: Members: $5 per day | Non-Members: $10 per day.
Please register online or stop into the Y. Registration begins July 9. Please bring water, wear comfortable clothes, and bring your own yoga mat if you choose. You will be barefoot.


OUTDOOR YOGA AT WYLIE

Feel the Breeze! Hear the birds! Soak up some rays! View the awesome scenery! All from your yoga mat! This class is to be held on the beach or the grassy area overlooking the beach. You will need to bring your own yoga mat, blanket or towel. In case of bad weather the yoga class will be held at the Y. This class is held from 9:00am-10:00am

Join us for a three day workshop led by William "Doc" Savage. This workshop will explore Health of the Spine; Health of the Upper Back, Shoulders, and Arms; Health of the Lower Back, Hips, and Legs; Health of the Heart, Mind and Breath. For more information view our flyer, HERE.
