Indoor Playland Capital Campaign

The YMCA’s Indoor Playland Project is designed to be a welcoming, inclusive space for all families in our community. This is not just a members-only amenity — it is a community investment in safe, active, and accessible play for children of all ages.

In Northeast South Dakota, weather can limit outdoor activity for much of the year. The Indoor Playland will provide a vibrant, year-round space where kids can move, explore, and imagine — no matter the season.

A Space Designed for Families

The Indoor Playland will feature:

🌟 Multi-Level Play Structure
An engaging, high-energy play area where children can climb, crawl, slide, and explore in a safe and supervised environment.

🧸 Soft Play Area for Younger Children
A dedicated, age-appropriate space specifically designed for toddlers and preschoolers. This area will focus on safe exploration, sensory play, and early motor skill development.

☕ Parent & Guardian Lounge
A comfortable lounge space where parents and guardians can relax, connect, or work remotely while remaining close to their children. This space reinforces that the Indoor Playland is built with the whole family in mind.

Built for Community

The YMCA is committed to ensuring this space is accessible and welcoming. As with all YMCA programs, financial assistance will be available so that cost is never a barrier to participation. We believe every child deserves a safe place to play and every family deserves a place to belong.

This project is about strengthening community connections, promoting healthy lifestyles, and creating joyful experiences for children and families throughout the region.
