FAMILY SPOTLIGHT:
MEET THE DINGER'S
Jes, Levi, Camden, and Talon Dinger have been a part of the Y family for almost five years. The Dinger family rises very early every morning to make it to town by 7:30 am. They live in Houghton, which is 30 miles northeast of Aberdeen. Jes drives Camden and Talon into town for school (at the YDC) and for work where she is a dental hygienist. Talon is currently in the Flower Patch room and Camden is currently a Professor. Levi travels east to Britton where he works as a machinist.
On the weekends, especially Friday nights, Jes and Camden love watching Levi race at the Brown County Speedway. Camden loves being a part of all the pit crew action (and playing Tic Tac Toe in the dirt). They also like to spend their time at Wylie Park riding go carts, the Storybook Land Train, and Storybook Land carousel. When you can't find the Dinger's in Aberdeen, it is likely you'll find them outside driving the Gator, playing on their new swingset built by their dad and Papa or chasing after the two new barn kitties, Spongebob and Patrick. Both Camden and Talon love being able to spend time farming with Grandpa Dave and Grandma Carolyn in Hecla.
If you know Camden, you know he lives for the green and yellow John Deere tractors and combines. Talon is following in his big brothers footsteps with his love of trucks, tractors and construction equipment. These boys may be the only South Dakota residents who actually enjoy road construction.

We finally think we have our email woes conquered so you can now email your child’s classroom anytime you want. Be aware that all the staff in each classroom will get the email that you send. If you have a particular issue to talk to the lead staff about they also have individual emails. Classroom e-mails are listed below. This will be a great way for you to stay in-touch with your child’s classroom!! Coming this month also will be the ability for you to text staff on their classroom iPads as well!

SPOOKTACULAR:
FAMILY FUN NIGHT
Come join us for a SPOOKTACULAR family fun night filled with games, prizes, inflatables, contests and fun on Friday, October 25 from 6:00-8:00pm. Feel free to come dressed in your Halloween best! We will be selling pizza for $2 per slice. This event is free for members and is $10 for a non-member family and will be held at the main Y.
